Why hypnosis?
Why not? It’s a pleasant, relaxing method of changing unwanted behaviors or instilling behaviors you do want.
What’s required?
All that’s required is a sincere willingness and motivation to make a change.
Am I hypnotizable?
YES! Have you ever daydreamed or lost track of time? These are different kinds of hypnotic states.
What hypnosis is not:
Hypnosis is not sleep.
You do not lose consciousness.
You cannot get stuck in hypnosis.
The hypnotist cannot control you.
You cannot lose your free will.
In a sense, all hypnosis is guided self-hypnosis.
